Data governance Expert

As a member of our team you are going to work together with Ipoteka and OTP Group reporting experts, DevOps professionals and IT specialists on developing and maintaining smooth operation of complex databases. Your main task is to manage projects, developments and data quality improvements of our BI products in a supportive environment.

Key accountabilities:

• Participation in the development, implementation and operation of complex controlling databases
• Efficient cooperation and communication with the finance teams, business units and IT departments in Ipoteka and across OTP Group
• Coordinate and support data quality improvement tasks
• Creating test cases for the developments
• Monitor, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of financials models and methodologies
• Identify and make suggestions for improvements in systems design
• Recommend controls by identifying problems; improve procedures
• Design new solutions by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
• Manage IT implementation of newly developed models and methodologies
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by following trends and innovations, technical perspective

Requirements:

• Relevant University/College degree (Informatics or Economics field)
• Professional knowledge of MsSQL
• Project management skills
• Strong analytical and modeling skills, ability to work with databases
• Structured thinking, ability to work accurately and independently
• Open minded for new technologies and practice (e.g. Microsoft Azure Cloud Solutions)
• At least intermediate (B1) level of English (both written and oral)
• Junior applicants are also welcome
