Head of Digital Platform Services Development

We are looking for a person who is passionate for leading people to reach their full potential and willing to play a key role in delivering IPOTEKA Bank’s digital strategy. The Head of Digital Platform Services Development will have a fundamental responsibility in the modernization of the bank’s core systems ensuring ultimate agility for supporting the business plans.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Lead and manage teams of software developers, manage the performance of people and provide coaching when it is necessary.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and coordinate the process of translating requirements into IT objectives.
• Work with other Leaders in IT to define the strategic directions of IT Operations and make sure all team members have in depth knowledge and understanding about the strategic priorities.
• Provide technical leadership for modernization program of the bank’s core system and data management systems.
• Plan the teams’ growth considering the necessary skills and capacities for project and support activities.
• Create detailed plans for the team and make sure on time execution of deliverables.
• Manage the engineering, development, application maintenance and support processes of the bank’s existing and future core system and data management systems.
• Coordinate the relationships regarding vendors providing services for the engineering, development, support and maintenance of the bank’s digital platforms.
• Embrace and incorporate OTP Group’s best practices in IT.

• Experience of leading team of developers in Finance or Banking areas. Experience in managing and motivating staff to achieve stretched deadlines and handle challenging situations.

• Advanced knowledge in system development processes and development automation technologies
• Preferably advanced knowledge in development of core banking applications.

Requirements:

• Bachelor or University degree in IT engineering.
• Fluent English and Russian
