Head of Data Management Development

Responsible for driving the strategy, development, and implementation of data management solutions that support the bank’s organization's data-driven initiatives. Lead a team of professionals and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure data quality, accessibility, and security across our systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute a comprehensive data management strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and enhances data governance, quality, and accessibility.
• Establish best practices, standards, and policies for data management and governance.
• Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, analysts, and administrators, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Provide strategic direction, guidance, and support for team members' professional growth.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to design scalable and efficient data architecture, storage, and integration solutions.
• Ensure the alignment of data models and structures with business requirements according to OTP Group standards.
• Oversee the design and implementation of robust Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, ensuring smooth and accurate data integration across systems.
• Champion data integration best practices and monitor data flows for consistency and quality.
• Develop and enforce data quality standards, monitoring mechanisms, and data governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Implement security measures and access controls to protect sensitive data, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations. Oversee data masking, encryption, and data privacy initiatives.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to define data requirements for reporting, business intelligence, and data-driven insights.
• Drive the development of data analytics solutions that support informed decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, compliance, and business units, to align data management initiatives with organizational goals.
• Stay informed about emerging data management technologies and trends, evaluating their potential for enhancing our data ecosystem. Make informed recommendations for technology adoption and integration.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in data management, data engineering, or related roles, with a track record of leading and managing teams.
• Strong understanding of data management principles, data architecture, ETL processes, data quality, and data governance.
• Proficiency in data integration tools, technologies, and platforms.
• Knowledge of data security regulations, compliance standards, and data protection laws.
