1. Roles and Responsibilities

• Working in close cooperation with relevant E&S units to ensure that project policies, plans and procedures comply with international standards such as IFC, EBRD and ADB.
• Ensuring that project E&S teams report in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with the Company Environmental & Social Management System Implementation Manual.
• Following and reporting internal and external corporate E&S reporting in accordance with lenders expectations, within the knowledge and guidance of the Corporate Head of E&S.
• Monitoring and reporting of field E&S activities in communication with the project E&S teams.
• Coordinating the weekly and monthly routine E&S activity reports of the project sites.
• Follow-up of routine E&S audit processes, follow-up of relevant reports, recording and sharing with management.
• Planning, recording, and monitoring corporate E&S trainings.
• Monitoring, planning and follow-up of internal and external E&S audit processes.
• Providing the necessary data for corporate ESG and Sustainability reports from the fields
• Coordination of information and documents requested by external auditors and consultants from field E&S teams.

1. Minimum Competency Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of total project/consulting/regulating/related experience in the environmental and social fields.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Uzbek and English (as a minimum) and desirably other languages applicable to the project.
• Experience or demonstrable ability to undertake corporate level environmental and social monitoring and reporting in accordance with International Standards (IFC, EBRD and ADB).
• Ability to undertake and interpret the outcomes of environmental social monitoring programs.
• Experience or demonstrable ability to manage and effectively undertake environmental and social monitoring (such as grievance management, stakeholder engagement, worker accommodation quality etc.)
• Experience or demonstrable ability to engage with project stakeholders (e.g. communities and others)
• Experience or demonstrable ability to prepare and deliver environmental and social training programs and content for site-based staff.
