Юрист (Associate)

Kosta Legal Law Firm invites experienced professionals to participate in the candidate competition for an Associate practicing corporate, banking, and finance law. An Associate will work in a team and under Senior Associates and can expect a good variety of work on the full spectrum of Uzbek commercial law matters in relevant areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• advising clients on a broad range of legal issues under Uzbek law;
• working with a client base that comprises multinational corporations and prestigious international law firms;
• handling multiple legal matters simultaneously and independently;
• conducting legal research on relevant matters;
• assisting in the drafting, reviewing, amending, and negotiating documents for complex transactions;
• taking an active part in perceiving the knowledge and experience shared by Senior Associates;
• reporting to the Senior Associate(s) on the progress of monitored matters and the general performance on a regular basis.

Requirements:

• Law degree;
• At least 1 year of experience in commercial/banking/finance law;
• A legal mindset and strong counseling skills;
• Experience and skills in international projects are welcomed;
• Commitment to high standards of work;
• Ability to understand the law in contexts and propose creative solutions;
• English (not least than C1) and Russian language proficiency;
• Excellent knowledge and document management skills;
• Strong business (written, oral) communication skills;
• Ability to work with the client and build an effective working relationship with them;
• Ability to work both in a team and individually;
