Simultaneous Translator

University of Digital Economics and Agrotechnologies is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Simultaneous Translator to join our International Department. This position requires proficiency in Uzbek, Russian, and English. The successful candidate will provide essential translation services during university events, lectures, conferences, and meetings, ensuring effective communication across our diverse, multilingual community.

Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time translation and interpretation services from Uzbek to Russian, Russian to English, and vice versa.
• Assist in the preparation of written translations of academic papers, official documents, and other materials as required.
• Work closely with faculties, staff, and visiting guests to facilitate clear and accurate communication.
• Maintain confidentiality and neutrality, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all translations.
• Adapt to varying speech patterns, regional accents, and colloquialisms to ensure accurate and understandable translations.
• Assist in scheduling and managing translation assignments in coordination with university event planners.

• Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Translation Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a simultaneous translator, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in an academic setting.
• Excellent command of Uzbek, Russian, and English, with certification in language proficiency highly preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality translation standards.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
