Purpose of Position

Audit Staff are members of multiple client engagement teams.

Receives on-the job training to acquire practical experience in applying professional standards and firm policy and procedures (e.g., the guidance in our Audit Methodology available on the intranet) on client engagements.

Audit staff primarily assist in performing audit of client financial statements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Leads project teams in Uzbekistan presents audit findings to the audit manager;

2. Plans, performs and completes audit engagements in accordance with strict deadlines, allocates responsibilities to junior staff;

3. Drafts audit comments and report issues to support findings identified during the fieldwork.

4. Prepares audit documentation & client deliverables to a high internationally accepted standard, reviews team members’ work for accuracy and compliance;

5. Interacts with client management to gather necessary information.

6. Develops junior staff by providing on the job training and appropriate performance feedback;

7. Develops and maintains strong professional relationship with client management;

8. Prepares electronic working papers documenting work done and results in accordance with firm’s documentation requirements;

9. Ensures timely completion of audit and submission of reports to the audit manager;

10. Is aware of market opportunities and identifies potential areas for additional work

Education and experience

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Possession of an ACCA certification will be viewed favorably in candidate evaluation.

Other Requirements

1. Becomes familiar with the types of services that the firm provides.

2. Maintains an education program to continually develop technical accounting, auditing, and management skills consistent with the firm’s professional development requirements.

3. Assists with other firm administrative matters (e.g., process improvement team initiatives, recruiting efforts, special projects) when opportunities are presented).

4. Participates in civic, business community, and/or professional organizations.
