Job Description:

• The dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and managing transportation operations in the Northeast and Midwest regions.

• This position involves working with DAT Loadboard.

• Strong communication skills are essential as the dispatcher will need to communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and other stakeholders.

• The dispatcher will work on a loadboard, which is a platform used to match available shipments with carriers and drivers.

• Responsibilities may include assigning loads, tracking shipments, monitoring driver schedules, and addressing any issues or delays that may arise during transportation operations.

• Ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations related to transportation and logistics.

Qualifications:

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Familiarity with the use of loadboards and transportation management software.

• Knowledge of the Northeast and Midwest regions and their transportation routes.

• Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Previous experience in dispatching or logistics may be preferred.
