Responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of the bank’s core business applications. Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for database administration, core systems, Swift, and OTP group applications, ensuring seamless operation and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of application support professionals, fostering their technical and professional growth.
  • Manage resource allocation, workload, and scheduling to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and exceed customer expectations.
  • Oversee the 24/7 support and maintenance of critical core systems, databases, Swift applications, and group applications, ensuring minimal downtime and swift issue resolution.
  • Implement robust monitoring tools and performance metrics to proactively identify and address application issues and bottlenecks.
  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on application performance, support activities, and improvement initiatives to senior management.
  • Manage the lifecycle of enterprise applications, from planning and design to implementation and support.
  • Conduct regular backup tests and recovery drills to validate the effectiveness of the procedures.
  • Monitor the performance of enterprise applications and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead a team of application administrators, and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure enterprise applications support and enhance business processes.
  • Ensure enterprise applications align with industry best practices and comply with relevant regulatory standards.
  • Work with the IT infrastructure team to procure and allocate resources (storage, memory, CPU) as needed to support enterprise applications performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in enterprise application support, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Proficiency in database administration, banking systems, payment applications.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, ITIL) are advantageous.
  • English on intermediate level
