Mineral Exploration Manager (gold and copper)

Our Client - large international exploration company with big history is looking for Mineral Exploration Manager who will be responsible for planning, implementation and overall management of various field activities in Uzbekistan!

What you'll be responsible for:

• Exploration programs:
  - Manage company’s exploration interests and exploration programs under his responsibility
  - Manage project generation studies and prioritizing targets from his work for exploration in the short, medium and long terms
• Project Management
  -Insure efficient management to meet scope, time and budget.
  -Prepare annual budget and any forecast based on the results of exploration and Company’s objectives
• Reporting
  - Report results on regular basis to the VP Exploration and country manager
• HSE & Procedure:
  - Provide visible leadership and management commitment on Health and Safety matters and actively promote and reward improvements to Health and Safety.
  - Respect HSE procedure & policies of the company
• Environmental procedure
  - Comply with all environmental regulations (International and local)
  - Implement environmental procedures

We expect to see in your profile:

• At least 12-15 years’ experience working within Copper-gold mining / exploration industry
• Understand porphyry copper mineralization, exploration strategy and alteration
  Geologic field experience in mineral exploration
• Sound understanding of the copper metallurgy
• Training in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and Microsoft SQL
• Training in geographic information systems (GIS) software and 3D modelling like QGIS, Surpac, Geosoft + Target, ArcGIS, Surpac.
