Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging and innovative ICT curriculum tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic and personal growth.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and achievement.
- Foster digital literacy skills and critical thinking abilities among students.
- Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records of their academic performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate ICT across the curriculum and support interdisciplinary learning initiatives.
- Stay updated with advancements in educational technology and incorporate relevant tools and trends into teaching practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of best practices in ICT education.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders regarding student progress, curriculum updates, and school events.
- Uphold school policies, procedures, and standards of conduct to promote a safe and respectful learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, ICT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Teaching certification/license (if applicable)
- Proven experience teaching ICT at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge of ICT concepts, applications, and programming languages
- Proficiency in utilizing educational technology tools and software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
- Commitment to continuous professional growth and development
- Experience working in an international school environment (preferred)
- Fluency in English
