ICT Teacher

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and innovative ICT curriculum tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic and personal growth.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technologies to enhance student learning and achievement.
• Foster digital literacy skills and critical thinking abilities among students.
• Assess student progress, provide timely feedback, and maintain accurate records of their academic performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate ICT across the curriculum and support interdisciplinary learning initiatives.
• Stay updated with advancements in educational technology and incorporate relevant tools and trends into teaching practices.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay abreast of best practices in ICT education.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and stakeholders regarding student progress, curriculum updates, and school events.
• Uphold school policies, procedures, and standards of conduct to promote a safe and respectful learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, ICT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Teaching certification/license (if applicable)
• Proven experience teaching ICT at the primary or secondary level
• Strong knowledge of ICT concepts, applications, and programming languages
• Proficiency in utilizing educational technology tools and software
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Commitment to continuous professional growth and development
• Experience working in an international school environment (preferred)
• Fluency in English
