Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and managing our data infrastructure. Your work will ensure that our data is accessible, reliable, and ready to be transformed into insights that inform our strategic decisions and projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, architect scalable solutions, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to support data warehousing, analytics, and reporting needs.
• Collaborate with data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement data models, schemas, and structures to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity.
• Ensure data quality and consistency through best practices in data management and governance.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and efficiency, leveraging best practices and emerging technologies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines to ensure reliability, availability, and performance SLAs are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on building scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in data processing frameworks such as Spark, Kafka
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational MSSQL
• Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and ETL principles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
