Native Android Developer

We are seeking a skilled Native Android Developer to join our dynamic team in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing Android applications that interact seamlessly with native hardware components as well as RESTful and SOAP-based web services. This role requires a good understanding of English, both written and verbal. The ability to understand requirements and details in English well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop Android user applications with native Android programming languages such as Java and Kotlin using the Android development environment.
• Develop Android applications that efficiently interact with native hardware through the Java Native Interface (JNI).
• Utilize Android Debug Bridge (ADB) for diagnosing and debugging applications directly from the command line.
• Integrate applications with various data transfer protocols, including SOAP and RESTful services.
• Collaborate on application design using modern paradigms such as Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM) and Model-View-Controller (MVC).
• Manage project codebase using Git for source control.
• Optionally, work with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions or Google Enterprise services to enhance application management and security.
• Work with JIRA or other project management software to track and record bugs or issues.

Additional Skills:

• Manage data with Room Database; SQLite is also accepted.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing applications with LiveData
• Experience with C/C++ and cross-compiling libraries and SDKs for Android.
• MQTT protocol experience.
• Junit and other unit testing experience
