EHS Supervisor (Trainer)

For a project in Bukhara region, Uzbekistan we are currently looking for a EHS Supervisor (Trainer) to join our team! The EHS Supervisor (Trainer) will ensure all trainings needs are fulfilled timely and effectively and Support EHS Manager.

The EHS Supervisor (Trainer) will be:

• Showing leadership in improving the occupational safety management system on the project and introducing global best practices in the field of safety.

• Determining the need and monitoring the regularity of trainings for all categories of employees.

• Developing training programs and visual materials for trainings.

• Forming the need for the necessary resources and ensuring that the classroom for trainings is complete with all the necessary training materials.

• Conducting on regular basis training sessions and seminars in an accessible and understandable way with the presentation of visual materials.

• Checking the acquired knowledge based on the results of the trainings.

• Maintaining reports and statistics on training sessions.

• Reporting to the EHS Manager on a weekly basis.

• Participating in meetings and construction site inspections.

• Participating in the investigation of accidents and incidents.

Your profile:

• Proven experience is required, working in working independently in an EHS support or functional role.
• Engineering background and Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent qualification with demonstrated relevant technical experience.
• Good understanding of the principles of Change Management and in principle anthropology, in relation to ensure the EHS message reach all target audiences.
• In depth understanding of relevant legislation such as Environmental, labor and dangerous goods management.
• A broad knowledge of EHS management systems and of the processes, technologies and equipment in use on industrial sites and their potential hazards is essential.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills are a major requirement for the job holder.
• Good command / effective operational proficiency in Uzbek, Russian and English language.
• PC literacy and basic software such as Microsoft Office.
