Lecturer/Assistant Professors/Associate Professors in Computer Science

CENTRAL ASIAN UNIVERSITY seeks Lecturers/Assistant Professors/Associate Professors in Computer Science department. The post-holder is expected to assume an hourly/fully position within the Engineering school.

We are hiring faculty for the following courses for the Fall 24 semester:

Introduction to Computer Science

Analysis of Algorithms

Operating Systems

Reinforcement learning

Mobile Application Development

Computer Vision

Special topics in Computer Science (It will be based on hands-on experience of various important topics)

The candidates are required to mention in the CV the courses they taught so far (From the list of Fall 24 courses) as well as the courses for which they are applying. A part from the courses mentioned above (for the Fall 24 semester), the candidate is also required to mention the course that they will be interested in future (other than Fall 24 semester) from the list below"

Database Systems

Creative Engineering design, Product design (Digital logic and design + Arduino/Raspberry/Jatson nano based projects)

Scientific Research Methods

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver lectures to undergraduate on topics;

• Providing lectures and tutorial on these subjects;

• Participate in Syllabi design, curriculum design, review and evaluation processes;

• Participate in academic counseling for students;

• To participate in Departmental meetings;

• To supervise undergrad students in their final year projects.

Requirements :

• PhD Degree/Master's degree in Computer Science, or closely related discipline;

• Candidates with teaching experience will be preferred;

• Expertise in at least one of the Programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, etc.

• Excellent English-language communication skills.
