We are looking for a dedicated Private Banking Relationship Manager to drive business growth, provide tailored financial solutions, and uphold the highest standards of service excellence.
Job responsibilities
- Business Development: Identifying and acquiring new private banking clients through networking and referrals, expanding the bank’s private banking portfolio by offering competitive services.
- Client Relationship Management: Developing and maintaining strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), understanding clients' financial goals, risk tolerance, and individual preferences, providing personalized solutions and financial advice
- Operational Responsibilities: Assisting clients with transactions, credit facilities, and day-to-day banking needs, monitoring client accounts to ensure smooth financial operations, coordinating with internal teams (investment advisors, legal, compliance, and credit teams) to provide seamless service.
- Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: Maintaining confidentiality and data protection standards, conducting due diligence and risk assessments for new and existing clients, ensuring adherence to local and international banking regulations.
Meeting of both individual and department KPIs aimed for growing the business, enhancing client satisfaction, driving revenue, and maintaining compliance.
Required Skills:
- Financial Expertise. Deep understanding of Uzbekistan’s financial market, including foreign exchange regulations. Knowledge of local and international banking products. Experience in advising on multi-currency accounts, FX transactions and capital preservation strategies (for citizens of Uzbekistan)
- Client Relationship Management. Ability to attract and retain high-net-worth clients (HNWIs), including business owners, top executives, and investors. Expertise in handling VIP clients discreetly and confidentially, ensuring personalized financial solutions. Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and long-term client loyalty.
- Business Development & Sales. Ability to expand the private banking client base through networking and referrals. Expertise in cross-selling Ipoteka Bank’s services, including corporate banking, premium credit facilities. Understanding of Uzbekistan’s corporate sector to identify potential private banking clients.
- Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge. Strong knowledge of Uzbekistan’s KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) regulations. Awareness of local and international compliance frameworks (e.g., FATCA, CRS, and capital controls). Ability to work with internal compliance teams to ensure risk management in client transactions (for citizens of Uzbekistan)
- Communication & Multilingual Proficiency. Fluency in Russian is essential, and English proficiency is highly preferred for international client interactions. Ability to clearly explain financial products and regulatory requirements to clients. Strong presentation skills. Ability to work closely with Ipoteka Bank’s corporate and branch network to generate leads and referrals.
Required work experience:
- At least, 3-5 years at the same position in a bank, investment/wealth-management company dealing with upper-affluent/HNWI segment, or corporate banking. Prior roles in corporate banking, investment banking, or premium banking can be relevant for transitioning into private banking.
- Exposure to financial products such as deposits, cards, FX transactions, and loans for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
- Deep understanding of Uzbekistan’s banking landscape, including regulatory frameworks and market trends (for citizens of Uzbekistan )
- Strong network and client base of high-net-worth individuals will be advantage.
