QA/QC Electrical Engineer for Renewable Energy Project (LV,MV,HV)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review electrical design drawings, specifications, and other project documentation to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality assurance and quality control plan for the electrical scope of work.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to assess the quality of electrical installations, materials, and workmanship.
• Identify and document any non-conformities or defects, and work with the project team to implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the client, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of quality-related activities.
• Maintain detailed records of all quality-related activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions.
• Provide technical support and training to the project team on quality-related best practices and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Bureau Veritas' quality management system and relevant industry standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality inspection of large-scale construction projects, specifically solar PV and BESS.
• Specialised in Inspection HV Power Transformer, Switchgears (AIS/ GIS/ Hybrid), and HV cables.
• Thorough understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable to the project.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, including design, installation, and testing.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in the use of quality management tools and software.
• Familiarity with Bureau Veritas' quality management system and procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
