Civil Engineer in BESS (Battery Energy Storage System), Wind, Solar Power to Bukhara

Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Design:
   • Collaborate with project managers and project teams to develop efficient site layouts that optimize the site’s energy generation potential. This includes taking into account factors such as solar exposure, wind patterns, and battery storage requirements.
   • Ensure civil designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
2. Site Assessment and Selection:
   • Conduct site assessments to evaluate geological, environmental, and logistical factors that affect project feasibility.
   • Analyze soil conditions, topography, and hydrology to determine site suitability for solar, wind, or BESS installations.
3. Construction Supervision:
   • Monitor construction activities to ensure they meet design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
   • Conduct regular on-site inspections to assess progress and quality of work, promptly addressing any issues.
4. Contractor Liaison:
   • Liaise with contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery and resolve any on-site issues.
   • Review contractor proposals and change orders related to construction work, ensuring compliance with project objectives.
5. Quality Assurance and Control:
   • Implement quality assurance and control processes for civil engineering activities, including material testing and compliance checks.
   • Review and approve test results of construction materials, ensuring they comply with project specifications.
6. Infrastructure Development:
   • Design and supervise the construction of essential infrastructure such as access roads, drainage systems, and foundations for solar panels, wind turbines, and battery systems.
   • Ensure that all infrastructure is designed for durability and efficiency in supporting energy systems.
7. Environmental Management:
   • Develop and implement plans to minimise environmental impacts during the construction and operation phases.
   • Monitor environmental compliance throughout the project life cycle, resolving any issues that arise.
8. Stakeholder Communication:
   • Act as the primary point of contact for all civil engineering matters, liaising effectively with project stakeholders including owners, contractors and regulators.
   • Compile and present project status reports highlighting any issues and proposed solutions.
9. Project Handover and Documentation:
   • Ensure all civil engineering documentation, including as-built drawings and operations manuals, are complete and accurate for project handover.
   • Facilitate training of operations and maintenance teams on civil aspects of infrastructure.
10. Post-Construction Evaluation:
    • Participate in post-construction evaluations to assess performance and identify areas for improvement on future projects.
    • Collect feedback on civil engineering practices and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.

Requirements:

• Language: fluent in English, Russian and Uzbek. If you also know Chinese, you will have priority when joining.
• Experience in electrical engineering for more than 4 years.
• Computer skills (MS Office, CAD), the ability to competently draw up documents
• Have a bachelor's degree or higher diploma
• Persons with experience in other Chinese companies will also have priority when hiring.
• Experience in solar energy, BESS, Wind energy is a priority for joining.
