PDP University is a modern, innovative educational institution based in Tashkent, dedicated to the advancement of cutting-edge technologies. We are seeking a qualified academic leader for the position of Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence Solutions and Applications.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the strategic development of the department, the creation and adaptation of academic programs, the organization of research activities, and ensuring that educational standards align with the rapidly evolving AI industry requirements.

• Academic and Strategic Leadership:

• Shaping and implementing the strategic vision for the development of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and its role within the university;

• Analyzing the latest achievements and trends in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and related technologies to maintain the relevance of academic programs;

• Introducing innovative teaching methods, research approaches, and practice-oriented learning;

• Curriculum Development and Alignment with Market Demands:

• Designing and regularly updating academic courses, including machine learning, neural networks, computer vision, natural language processing, and AI applications;

• Establishing and maintaining partnerships with IT companies, startups, and research centers to integrate practical case studies and internships;

• Ensuring compliance of academic programs with national and international educational standards and accreditation requirements;

• Faculty Management and Recruitment:

• Recruiting and developing the teaching staff of the department, organizing their training and professional growth;

• Assessing the quality of faculty work, ensuring timely grading, and updating learning materials;

• Motivating staff and fostering a team culture focused on innovation;

• Student Success and Employment Support:

• Monitoring student satisfaction, conducting surveys, and implementing improvements to the educational process;

• Organizing career events, internship programs, and industry collaborations to increase graduate employment rates;

• Providing support to students in their studies and professional skills development;

• Digital Platforms and Tools:

• Implementing and maintaining LMS, Bitrix24, BTEC, and other modern digital tools to enhance the quality of education and educational process management;

• Supporting faculty and students in using innovative technologies and AI tools;

• Scientific Research and Innovation:

• Promoting the development of scientific research, publications, and innovative projects in the field of artificial intelligence;

• Organizing and developing partnerships with scientific and industrial organizations for joint research and the implementation of innovations;

• Quality Control and Compliance:

• Ensuring a high level of educational quality and continuous improvement of academic programs;

• Preparing the department for accreditations, internal audits, and compliance with international standards.

• Master’s degree (MA) or PhD in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields;

• At least 5 years of professional and/or academic experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role;

• Experience in designing and delivering academic programs and courses in AI and related technologies;

• Scientific publications or projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence are an advantage;

• Proficiency in LMS, Bitrix24, BTEC, and other digital educational platforms;

• Languages: Fluent proficiency in Uzbek and English is mandatory; knowledge of Russian is an advantage;
