DUTIES:
- Oversee compliance with air, waste, environment related regulations and construction permits
- Monitor, evaluate, and interpret environmental legislation and regulations for the purpose of determining applicability to the construction field
- Prepare strategies to meet those requirements, establish systems to ensure they are incorporated into construction
- Develop systems for maintaining and documenting regulatory and permitting compliance)
- Prepare and coordinate periodic reports required for permits and meeting regulatory requirements
- Prepare for and facilitate internal/external audits, evaluate/challenge audit findings and develop/document action plans
- Represent the company at meetings with regulatory agencies and respond to client’s inquiries
- Prioritize and direct work assignments, duties, responsibilities, and projects to ensure productivity and compliance. Guide the personal development of the Environmental staff
- Facilitate learning about terms and conditions of environmental permits and requirements of environmental rules and regulations, and compliance tools across the organization
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results driven, team oriented environment
- Works closely with Local Governmental authorities and agencies, community organizations and stakeholders on energy and environmental sustainability
- Monitors, measures and reports on planned and completed E&S activities
- Along with reports recommendations shall be provided to Local Governmental Authorities regarding methodologies and best practices for facilitating environmental sustainability
- Develops and implements long-term resource conservation, environmental sustainability, and climate change plans, policies and action strategies
- Proven experience in Renewables or relevant field;
- Proven EPC / Contractor related experience;
- Proven experience to cooperate with governmental (Federal, State and Local) regulatory programs;
- Engineering or Safety Related background / testimonials.
- Hands on experience with Environmental related software and statistics;
- Basic Microsoft Software (MS Spreadsheet/ Word / Adobe);
- Relocation to Samarkand / ideally candidate shall be citizen of Samarkand;
- 6-1 / 40 hours a week.
