- The Sales & Events Executive plays a key role in driving revenue through proactive sales efforts and the seamless coordination of hotel events. This position involves managing client relationships, selling hotel event spaces and services, and ensuring the successful execution of events ranging from corporate meetings to weddings and social gatherings. The ideal candidate is goal-driven, customer-focused, and highly organized, with experience in hospitality or events.
Sales & Business Development:

Actively source and secure new business opportunities for meetings, events, and group bookings.

Respond promptly to event and group inquiries, prepare proposals, and conduct site inspections.

Convert leads into confirmed bookings through effective negotiation and relationship building.

Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and revenue goals.
Event Coordination:

Work closely with clients to understand their event needs, objectives, and budgets.

Coordinate with internal departments (F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, AV, etc.) to ensure event requirements are met.

Create and distribute detailed function sheets and event orders to relevant teams.

Be present during major events to oversee operations and address any last-minute changes.
Client Relationship Management:

Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.

Conduct follow-ups post-event to gather feedback and identify future opportunities.

Attend networking events, trade shows, and local tourism board functions as a hotel representative.
Administration & Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and event details using hotel CRM systems.

Prepare weekly sales reports, forecasts, and event summaries for management.

Ensure all billing, contracts, and documentation are completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Working Conditions:

Office-based with regular on-site presence during events

Occasional travel for sales calls, networking events, or training

Must be available during peak business hours, including weekends or holidays depending on event schedules
