EAL teacher for High school

• Develop and deliver English B lessons for High School students (MYP/DP);

• Apply a range of teaching strategies: co-planning, co-teaching, and co-assessing.

• Use grouping strategies (whole-class, small group, pair, individual work);

• Differentiate instruction to meet students’ language acquisition needs.

• Create and maintain a motivating and structured IB learning environment;

• Plan with a focus on academic literacy, critical thinking, and MYP/DP exam preparation;

• Engage students in consistent reflection and self-assessment.

• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and alignment with IB standards;

• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on progress.

• Take responsibility for one Co-curricular Activity (CCA) per week each semester.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or related field (Master’s preferred);

• At least 3 years of experience teaching English B or ESL/EAL in High School (MYP/DP);

• Strong knowledge of the IB MYP/DP framework, including assessment criteria and ATL skills;

• Expertise in teaching English as a foreign language to multilingual learners;

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills;

• Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English;

• Good command of Russian and Uzbek is considered an advantage;

• Proficiency with educational technologies and school platforms;

• Experience with IB assessment practices (IA, EA, Extended Essay supervision);
