Conduct cost-benefit analyses of proposed adaptation and resilience measures in the power sector.

Evaluate the economic impacts of potential climate and disaster-related disruptions on the energy system, including outages and cascading effects on critical sectors.

Quantify the financial implications of infrastructure damage and service interruptions, comparing “business-as-usual” with resilience investment scenarios.

Support the development of resilience plans by providing economic justifications for prioritized measures.

Collaborate with engineers, climate risk specialists, and GIS experts to integrate economic perspectives into technical assessments.

Prepare analytical inputs for deliverables, including the Risk Assessment Report and Resilience/Adaptation Plans.

Contribute to stakeholder workshops and present findings in a clear and policy-relevant manner.

Master’s degree in Economics (or related field).

Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.

Proven track record in energy sector projects, ideally with exposure to disaster/climate risk assessments.

Strong background in cost-benefit analysis, resilience planning, and economic evaluation of infrastructure investments.
