Civil Engineer

The Civil Engineer ensures that structures and foundations are designed to accommodate the procured equipment and that construction materials meet the required quality.

Material Specification: Develop and review specifications for construction materials (e.g., concrete mix design, structural steel, piping materials) used in water-retaining structures.

Procurement Interface: Provide the necessary foundation and interface loads/dimensions to the Civil Design team based on the final, procured mechanical equipment data.

Tender Document Preparation: Assist the procurement team in drafting the technical scope of work for civil construction contracts, including bulk earthworks and structure construction.

QA/QC Support: Provide technical support for inspecting and approving site materials (aggregates, rebar, pipes) upon delivery, confirming they meet specified quality standards.
