Cafe Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily café operations to ensure smooth service and high customer satisfaction.

• Lead and motivate staff through regular briefings, training, and performance evaluations.

• Manage café Profit & Loss (PnL), monitor expenses, and perform daily financial reconciliations.

• Ensure consistent quality of food, beverages, and service according to brand standards.

• Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.

• Develop and implement marketing initiatives, promotions, and events to increase sales.

• Analyze market trends and customer behavior to improve business strategies.

• Handle customer feedback and resolve operational issues efficiently.

• Coordinate inventory, suppliers, and stock management.

• Support café growth by training staff and creating a positive team culture.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in F&B management, with proven experience managing a café/restaurant.

• Strong understanding of F&B operations, including food & beverage production, service, and supply chain.

• Excellent knowledge of financial management: P&L, budgeting, cost control, and sales forecasting.

• Skilled in team leadership: hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, and staff retention. • Strong knowledge of customer service excellence and complaint handling.

• Familiar with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (HACCP or equivalent). • Experience in marketing & sales strategy for cafés/restaurants (promotions, social media, customer loyalty programs).

• Ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Excellent time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.

• Tech-savvy: proficient in POS systems, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and digital communication tools.

• Flexible and willing to work in a dynamic environment, including weekends and holidays.

• Pleasant personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluent in English and local language (preferred, depending on location).
