Support Teacher

About the Role

The Canadian School of Tashkent (CST) is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Support Teacher to assist in Pre-Kindergarten and Primary School classes on a short-term basis. This temporary position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with young children in an international school environment and can provide flexible, hands-on classroom support.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide classroom assistance to lead teachers in Pre-K and Primary School levels
• Support students with their learning activities under teacher guidance
• Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe, nurturing environment
• Assist with preparation and organization of learning materials
• Supervise students during class transitions, breaks, and other school activities
• Collaborate effectively with teaching and support staff
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies and standards

Requirements

• Experience working with young learners (ages 3–10)
• Background in education, childcare, or a related field preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and work in a multicultural environment
• Professional attitude, punctuality, and responsibility
• English language proficiency
