About the Company

OrientSwiss is an international group of companies and a fintech ecosystem headquartered in Switzerland, bringing together 400 employees across multiple countries.

In Uzbekistan, our team consists of 200 people, including 4 HR specialists.
Our office is located in Tashkent.

Key business areas:

  • Marketplace: ZOOD Mall

  • BNPL service: ZOOD Pay

  • Logistics: Fargo delivery to customers and pickup points

Geography: Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Georgia, India, as well as distributed teams in France, Switzerland, Austria, China, Iran, Bulgaria, Germany, and the UAE.

The company has been operating since 2019: we started as a marketplace and today our strategic focus is on fintech and banking partnerships.

We care about the sustainability of HR processes: career planning, eNPS surveys, regular 360-degree assessments, 100+ employee events annually, established HR regulations, and regular external audits.

Responsibilities

HR Strategy

  • Develop and implement an HR strategy aligned with business goals.

  • Adapt internal policies and procedures to international best practices.

  • Propose and implement innovative approaches to HR development.

Team Effectiveness

  • Drive employee learning and development programs.

  • Streamline team processes and clarify responsibilities.

  • Foster engagement through feedback, recognition, and team culture.

Process Automation

  • Promote the adoption of digital tools and AI in team management.

  • Lead the use of analytics (Power BI, Excel) for company-wide decision-making.

  • Advance the use of digital solutions and AI in HR

Succession Planning

  • Build talent pipelines and career tracks.

  • Ensure preparation of successors for critical roles.

Grading & Compensation

  • Develop and implement a grading system.

  • Ensure transparency and fairness in compensation.

  • Oversee benefits programs and non-financial motivation initiatives.

Operational HR Processes

  • Lead recruitment activities.

  • Ensure compliance with Uzbekistan’s labor legislation.

  • Maintain healthy discipline and manage conflicts based on psychology, trust, and respect within the team.

Requirements

  • Higher education.

  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

  • Experience in a tech company.

  • Experience as an HR Director or similar senior HR role.

  • Proven track record in improving team efficiency.

  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and modern approaches.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize and make independent decisions in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
