Social Media Manager (Uzbekistan)

We are looking for a Social Media Manager / Content Creator to build and lead our local content strategy and community presence in Uzbekistan. You’ll be responsible for crafting impactful, culturally relevant content in Uzbek, tailored for Telegram and other key social platforms. This is a hands-on role for a creative storyteller who understands local trends, memes and digital culture — and can turn them into engaging posts that drive awareness, education and user engagement for our products.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, write, and publish engaging, high-quality content in Uzbek (and occasionally Russian), tailored to local culture and audience preferences.
• Build and grow our Telegram channel, creating daily posts (including visuals), stories, polls, and campaigns that drive engagement.
• Support local campaigns, product launches, and partnership announcements through creative, localized storytelling.
• Engage with followers — respond to comments, spark conversations, and nurture a loyal local community.
• Track and analyze content performance (views, engagement, growth) to continuously optimize based on data insights.
• Collaborate closely with the Uzbekistan Country Manager and the Marketing, Growth, and Design teams to ensure all content aligns with brand voice and growth goals.

Requirements:

• 3–4 years of experience in social media management and content creation — including copywriting, visuals, memes, etc.
• Proven track record of managing Telegram channels or online communities with measurable engagement.
• Background in fintech, crypto, or consumer tech.
• Deep understanding of Uzbek digital culture, trends, and online communities.
• Fluent in Uzbek (native level) with excellent writing and storytelling skills; professional proficiency in Russian and English.
• Hands-on experience with content planning, scheduling, and performance tracking tools.
• Strong creativity, initiative, and ability to craft viral, high-performing content.
• Comfortable navigating fast-evolving trends and turning them into fresh, on-brand content ideas.
